There are different ways to search for venues and organizers – Google Calendar, Maps, and Your organizer’s website all have unique features that are fun and helpful when organizing events. How to Set Up an Event
This is a very simple process. Start off by finding the event you want to view. From there, on the info card of that event, switch to “view your upcoming events”. In this section, you will find not only past events but also future ones. Click on “become a free member now. Now it looks like normal.
Also, I’d show you how to sync this tool with your Google Calendar but they don’t make it easy to do so and I got one problem after the event would sync. The problem is that my Events weren’t taking place in the weeks following the original date. They were moved down by *30* days.
Adding the Event to your Calendar
In order to preview an event in Google Maps, open the web browser on your phone or tablet and go to google.com/maps. For example, if you want to view the February 3rd Happy Hour from 5 to 7pm, search for happy hour events at Kingdom Lounge and click on the event. It will take you to the actual event. Once on the event information page, click on the “add event to your calendar” tab. Your phone or tablet will make a Google Chrome request for your permission. Part of planning for a new event is trying to figure out where the space will be. To get started, make sure you have Google Maps and Google Calendar installed on your phone. Once both are installed, use this simple trick to view areas that can enable you to install an event on those locations: in Maps copy the text or tap the map to select an area then pin it by tapping the “+” at bottom-left corner of screen. Use Calendar to view events that are available on that location. Quickly finding new locations is as easy as opening up Map and clicking on the “+” at the bottom-left corner of the screen then going to select Anywhere else + Add location. Doing this will add an event for anywhere you’ve saved an address for and then copy.
