Imagine you’re trying to do something, when your phone rings unexpectedly. It’s your mom so you quickly pick up the call and find out that she needs a ride home before dinner starts. You assumed she already knows where the nearest car pool leaves from, but it turns out that she is actually on the opposite end of town and without any way to come get her. Luckily for willing participants in this unfortunate scenario, Google Assistant will use its vast knowledge to put this information in your pocket.
How does Google Assistant work?
Google Assistant is a digital assistant that comes pre-installed on many devices, like the Google Home and the Pixel. It’s quiet and easy to use, allowing you to quickly get stuff done.
How does it work? You use your voice to ask Google Assistant to do things like play music, search the web, set alarms, and more. Google keeps a list of all the commands you’ve used and can even learn new commands as you use them. Plus, if you have a Google account, your assistant can also talk to other Google services like Maps and Calendar. If you have a phone with Android O or later, you can even use voice features along with apps like Amazon’s Alexa and Apple’s Siri. So if you want to be able to control your home appliances or get information from different apps across your devices using just your voice, Google Assistant is worth trying out!

2. Be respectful. Remember that users might be using Google Assistant to conduct business or manage personal affairs. Accordingly, treat them with respect. Don’t start conversations with offensive language or sexually suggestive content, for instance.
3. Think about the user experience first. Make sure that your chatbot is easy to use and understand. Users shouldn’t have to figure out how to use your chatbot or decipher complicated instructions just to talk to it. Try to make your bot as self-explanatory as possible.

Conclusion
Google Assistant is amazing for communication, so much so that it is arguably one of the best assistants on the market. Overall, I was really happy with how well Google Assistant worked with my daily routine and how smoothly it interacted with other devices in my home. In terms of customization, I could see some potential concerns come up in the future given how much control Google has over how Assistant operates on Android devices. Nevertheless, I think Google Assistant is a great assistant and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an AI-powered chat tool.
