Google Calendar gets new layouts, now with more Material Design
Google’s Gmail, Google Fit, and even Google Maps have had some new updates that have taken on a few different colors. The colors are now represented in the Material Design folders of these features to help users better understand a time frame they’re looking at. Google is throwing in some new options to Gmail. Users can jump into Google Calendar with an expanded view or view three different calendar views at once. They can even set up a reminder or have the calendar pop right open. Meanwhile, the Fit feature has had its colors changed to fit in with Material Design’s emphasis on color throughout each feature of Android Marshmallow and some of the icons have also been revamped to match up better.
