Google is going to offer a significant storage upgrade to self-employed people and entrepreneurs who are on the Workspace individual plan. Before this change, they only got 15GB of storage space; after the change, they’ll get 1TB. Most Workspace individual users won’t need to worry about running out of storage space anymore.
Previously, Google only offered Workspace individual users the same amount of storage space as a free Gmail account. But now, Google is upgrading its users’ storage to its suite for Microsoft Office 365 without any interaction on their part.
Elsewhere, there are more options for those who send emails to multiple people through the multi-send mode. This includes the option to use mail merge tags, such as @firstname, to personalize these email blasts. It may be useful even if the Workspace individual plan doesn’t yet support custom email addresses. Additionally, Google is bringing the Workspace individual plan to more countries: The Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and Taiwan will all soon have access. Thailand, The Netherlands Portugal Belgium Finland and Greece will also have their own plans soon.
