Google Lock Screen Widgets in iOS 16
The rollout of the new Lock Screen widgets for Maps on Wednesday, following five apps that released small widget updates in version 233.0 of the Google app, brought us to today’s v233.1 release with two more widgets added–Search and Navigation.
Use the Google Search widget on your Lock Screen to help you find and access Google search results while keeping your phone unlocked.
Voice Search: You can ask a question or hum a song or use voice search to search for content without typing.
Lens will make it easy for you to search thousands of images, pull out the tags, and easily view them.
Let’s make Lens even more smart! Just tap on your favorite Lens feature, and you’ll get helpful translations, help in finding the perfect gift for that special someone, or a simple way to check homework answers.
With the latest release of Google Maps, there are many new features to be excited about: widgets for Search and Frequent Trips, with the latter displaying the estimated time of arrival and traffic conditions.
Medal Trip: Get a detailed itinerary of your trips and find out how much time you’re spending in each place.
Google Maps keeps track of everything you need to know about local restaurants, petrol stations, tourist attractions, and more.
If you didn’t find what you were looking for in the apps mentioned above, head over to Google News and try to add widgets from there. Once the app is updated on your device, it will cause a re-launch of your device.
